Nicole Richie had her baby shower on November 18, organized by Mindy Weiss, a celebrity party planner. She has taken one another step towards motherhood.
Nicole, along with her boyfriend Joel Madden, had declared the pregnancy in July and she will be expecting her child in January 2008.
Her sister Sophia and friends Paris Hilton and Masha Gordon, had planned for the party and about 90 people attended the shower.
Nicole’s mother, Brenda, was seen as the host of the party. The theme of the party was one of Nicole’s favorite, ‘ The Wizard of Oz’.
Nicole has not yet unveiled the suspense of having a boy or a girl, but the gifts presented to her in the party give us some idea.
Guests chose a pair of $50 baby sneaker for a boy from NoMi boutique in Loss Angeles and $50 Tummy T Jack maternity shirt with a picture of a boy in the front of it. According to one of their friends they are very much excited and they cannot wait to meet their baby.
While talking to the People, Madden told about the arrival of the baby, that it was the most exciting thing ever happened in his life, including Nicole. Anyway, he will have to wait till the New Year to come and bring along his little baby in his arms.
