Lead vocalist of the Pussycat Dolls (PCD) Nicole Scherzinger loves to be a part of sexy six-piece PCD rather than quitting the group in order to pursue her solo career. There had been a buzz that the pussycat Doll will be saying ‘goodbye’ to the troupe so she could work on becoming a full-time solo star. But ‘Don’t Cha’ singer, 29, has denied all the rumors as she said:

It’s not so much that I’m trying to move away from the Pussycat Dolls, it’s just that I have this music in me, and I knew I was supposed to put out this album.

She is with the Pussycat Dolls burlesque troupe since 2005. The PCD founded by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995, had begun as a dance troupe but was modified as a music group in 2003, and later expanded in 2005 with a parallel troupe at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Associated with world known PCD, she is set to release her debut solo disc ‘Her Name Is Nicole’ this November which is a collaboration with Timbaland and Will.I.Am.

Scherzinger is the sole member of the group with songwriting credits on PCD. Nicknamed as ‘Lead Doll’ or ‘Queen Doll’ she expresses her desire and love for the group and informs about their plan of another PCD album together.
