They decided to prove wrong those who believe the world is forgetting ‘the ‘Till Death Do Us Part’ vow.
X-Factor contestant Niki, 35, recently revealed that neither she nor her husband of 18 years, Darren, would want to continue living if either of them happens to die.
They have come up with this unusual ‘suicide pact’ which states that if one dies, the other would immediately kill him/herself.
He is my best friend. When I die I want to be on a beach somewhere holding his hand.
According to the recently eliminated Niki, both she her hubby have been through he grief of losing loved ones and have decided not to go through it again. Hence the pact. That way, Niki adds, their two children, Morgan, 12, & Jonah, 11, would have to suffer only once.
It might be simple coincidence, but her announcement was shortly preceded by fellow contestant Sharon Osbourne’s revelation of a similar pact with husband Ozzy.
What can we say except that may all of them live ogether happily ever after. We wouldn’t really look forward to finding out of they stick to their ‘pact’, will we?
