Breakfast is an important meal of our diet; however, it goes off our daily menu as we grow. Never miss your breakfast as it provides the required fuel to your body as the day kicks off. We prefer fast food, which is the main cause behind excess weight gain. Most of us are becoming fluffy and puffy and ultimately becoming more prone to diseases such as cancer, obesity, diabetes, thyroid and asthma.
Author Niemeier Heather, PhD, a psychologist at The Miriam Hospital, said:
We found that both fast food consumption and breakfast skipping significantly increased between Waves 2 and 3. More importantly, both behaviors were associated with increased weight gain during this time.
We are becoming lazy and machine dependent. Hunger cannot be dumped; we generally tend to eat (fast) food rich in carbohydrates, fats and saturated oils. By doing so, we invite cholesterol to accumulate in our blood vessels.
So, eat fresh and healthy food and be regular, especially with daily breakfast.
