No Christmas for Madonna and family!

Soon we would all be saying ‘good bye’ to 2007 and welcoming 2008 with great hopes. But amidst this farewell of the present year and welcoming the new one, I am anxiously awaiting my Christmas celebrations with near and dear ones, as the day also brings some unexpected gifts from close family members.

But somewhere I am bit sad for Madonna and Guy Richie kids. When all friends of Rocco and the singer’s 11-year-old daughter Lourdes’ will show off their gifts to the celeb kids they would have nothing to say like ‘this one is my X’mas gift’. Reason Madonna and Ritchie do not celebrate Christmas from past two years since they became followers of Kabbalah (a mystical off-shoot of Judaism) and disciples of its head Rabbi Philip Berg.

The pop queen and hubby want their children to follow the same path and have stopped them from having any Christmas celebrations. Guy said:

We cancelled Christmas two years ago in our household. Once we cancelled it we stopped all the presents, and once we stopped all the presents we started enjoying ourselves more.

As a matter of fact Kabbalah followers do not celebrate Christian festivities as they believe only in Jewish celebations. It means that Madonna does not recognize Christmas or Easter as she no longer keeps faith in Jesus, the son of God.

Madonna has been involved with Kabbalah from late 90s and since then she has been spending a huge amount ($2.4 million) to support Kabbalah.
