The rabid lust and lewd being witnessed in gang raping in India is appalling. The news of gang rape of foreign woman, in Mumbai on Wednesday (4-15-2009) is not a matter so easy to stomach. The victim is said to be gang raped by six men and she seems to be a student.

This is not an isolated case to wonder. In first month of this year (2009), a Dutch woman was sexually assaulted at Goa beach. February 2008 Sacrlett Keeling’s semi nude dead body was found in Anjuna beach. The case once thought to be suicide became known, thanks to victim’s mother fighting tooth and nail.

One of the Australian tourists is said to have raped by an engineering student from Karnataka. The Chandrigarh rape case is not in oblivion when five men in September 2007 raped 20-year-old German girl.

The odd thing to consider is the security system in our country especially to the foreign nationals. When there is tall talk about the cultural diversity and a country with more divinity and an Eldorado of tranquility from meditation with an array of Yogis, these gang raping nasty and shameful acts are sure to mar and slash the country’s reputation.

By now the tourism in Kashmir is almost crippled and its professionals have untold woes and miseries. Unless the gang raping is not controlled in India, the umpteen number of virtues will not take home any more foreign exchequers.

Let us honor and respect our foreign nationals who long to see India’s glory and its grace.
