The verdict is out! The court has rejected Madonna’s bid to adopt a second Malawian child. According to court registrar Ken Manda, Madonna’s bid to adopt 4-year-old Chifundo “Mercy” James, had been rejected because the singer is not a resident of Malawi.
Madonna, who already has an adopted son, David Banda, from Malawi, was keen to adopt a second child from Malawi but her dream got trashed by certain Human Rights groups who were against the decision of Malawian government to support the pop star for a second adoption.
This should serve as an eye-opener for her lawyer Alan Chinula aka ‘the certified loudmouth‘ who was a bit too over-confident about this legal issue. Didn’t I tell you that Chinula will be changing his name to chewnula very soon? So here we have him chewing his words back. Oh no, I think I’m taking it a bit too lightly. Actually, Mr. Chewnula did something more than just chew his words. He chewed himself inside out and went invisible after the court’s decision!
As for Madge, I feel sorry for her. Maybe she should not lose hope and try appealing against the ruling. But before that… she needs to fire the loudmouth and hire a real lawyer.
