Nobel concert gets Tommy Lee Jones as co-host

For all those fans of superstar Tommy Lee Jones here is good news for all. The star will be seen as a co-host in the Nobel Peace Prize concert for former U.S. Vice President Al Gore and representatives from the U.N’s climate change panel.

The annual December 11th concert is in celebration and felicitation of the Nobel Peace Prize laureates. The concert also brings together the best from the world of music anf films. This annual concert will also be broadcast to dozen of countries. This years lineup at the concert includes superstars like Alicia Keys and Annie Lennox.

Also performing in the concert will be Melissa Etheridge who won an Academy Award for her song ‘I need to wake up’ this year which feaured in Al Gore’s environmental documentary ‘An Inconvinient Truth’.

Tommy Lee Jones and Al Gore’s associations go way back in time when the two shared rooms with each other at Havard University. The actor who has features in movies like ‘Men in Black’, ‘The Fugitive’ etc also delivered a speech at the 2000 Democratic National Convention, when Gore was presented as the Party’s candidate for president.

The organisers of the concert have not yet disclosed Lee Jones co-host. The 2007 Nobel Peace Prize was bestowed upon Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change for their efforts to assist spread the awareness about man-made global warming.

Admirers of Lee Jones will get to see the star co-host the concert, which is definitely a huge honor for both the star and the former U.S. Vice President. Yet another day shall be added in the books of Nobel Peace Prize concert history and it surely will be one of the proudest moments in both Lee Jones and Al Gore’s lives.
