Oksana Grigorieva – Mel Gibson’s Russian girlfriend – has released the first single from her forthcoming album, Beautiful Heartache. The 39-year-old singer and pianist says that the song, Say My Name, is direct from her heart. And I totally agree with her!
Interestingly, Oksana has penned the lyrics of every song on the album except this one. And no points for guessing who assisted her with the lyrics of Say My Name. Obviously, it was Mel Gibson himself and that’s why Oksana is pretty ecstatic about this song. Oksana says,
It is the first and one of the simplest songs on the album, but also one of the most intimate. It is naked, intimate, raw emotion, little more than piano and voice as if it is a cry from the soul.
Oksana and Mel stunned the world by making an appearance at the Los Angeles screening of X-Men Origins: Wolverine on April 28. But the real stunner came when the news of Oksana’s pregnancy was confirmed by Mel’s rep.
