The home will accommodate 40 elderly persons at the start while later it will be expanded to provide room for 400 people. Land has been acquired and other arrangements made by the WPM for constructing the home. President of WPM and eminent social figure Amjad Alvi also told media about a free legal bench that has been constituted for prisoners who are rotting in jail for minor crimes simply because they can’t afford to hire a lawyer for fighting their cases in court.

The construction of a home for elderly citizens who don’t have any family to care for them will be a landmark social achievement for the World Peace Movement. It is hoped that the project will inspire others to act in the same direction.
