Oprah plays the blessing stork!

Oprah Winfrey has earned one more medallion to decorate her already world-famous bosom. The mega-popular talk show host played the blessing stork during the Oprah Winfrey show on Thursday (Feb 4, 2010) when Lori MCKindle, an audience member, went into labour and almost delivered the first-ever on-air baby. The baby, named Justin, was born prematurely after Lori was rushed to an Illinois hospital.

According to Contactmusic,

OPRAH WINFREY had her first on-air baby during the OPRAH show on Thursday (04Feb10) when an audience member went into labour. Mum-to-be Lori MCKindle from Toronto, Canada had to be taken from the studio in Chicago, Illinois to a nearby hospital after her waters broke. And excited Winfrey halted the taping of the show to personally wish MCKindle well before paramedics raced her to Rush University Medical Center, where her son was born an hour later. Speaking to Oprah at the start of her show on Friday (05Feb10), the new mum said, “He was born about 20 minutes after I saw you. You helped me through… He’s (baby) doing pretty good. They’re doing a lot of tests on him now.”

I would like to congratulate Oprah on her unique achievement and would also like to thank her for giving us the first-ever on-air baby. Long live Oprah!
