Chat show queen Oprah Winfrey had a very success career in the US television with her famous talk show ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ and now Oprah is taking over the YouTube world.
The multiple-Emmy award-winning host has launched her very own YouTube Channel through her own production house, Harpo Productions.
The new channel went live last week on Friday and features a collection of supplemental video from ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show.’ The channel also features backstage footage, highlights from guests’ appearances, and videos that Winfrey had shot herself.
In a YouTube message to fans Winfrey said the channel was so new ‘we don’t even have a name for [it.] So we’re just going to call it, ‘Hey, what about Oprah’s channel?’
The partnership will be officially announced on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ Nov. 6 for which Miss.Winfrey has booked YouTube founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen to appear on her show as special guests. Moreover, Oprah herself will be in hand to guest edit the YouTube page and will post videos of her choice on the homepage at Youtube.com/oprah.
