No, it was not a bad day at a Las Vegas casino. The actor reportedly lost $500,000 worth of jewelry from his Hollywood Hills home courtesy of some sophisticated burglars.
TMZ reports,
Law enforcement tells us the thieves entered Bloom’s house through a window and made off with roughly $500,000 in jewelry — including two very expensive watches. Cops fingerprinted and photographed the scene. So far no suspects. Bloom was in NYC at the time.
With all due respect to Orlando’s emotions at this hour of reckoning, I can’t help but come out with a vague perception that he must be really wondering why he didn’t gamble this fortune at a casino instead of losing it to those burglars.
