Pamela Anderson criticizes Colonel Sanders’ postal stamp

colonel sanders postal stamp 14

The Baywatch babe is furious over the issue of launching postal stamps bearing the bearded image of Colonel Sanders, the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).

She is all against honoring the man. She doesn’t want the Post Master General to approve the stamp featuring Sanders. The ‘Baywatch’ babe has written a blasting letter to the Postmaster General, convincing him to reject KFC’s request to put the image of the founder of the fast-food chain on a stamp.

Anderson, an animal-rights activist and a member of PETA, has criticized KFC for its treatment of chickens and has been since long campaigning for the feathered little ones.

Honoring a man whose legacy involves breaking animals’ bones and scalding animals to death in defeathering tanks is contrary to the values of most compassionate citizens, and I hope that you’ll deny KFC’s request. How about another Elvis stamp instead?

Anderson wrote in a letter to Postmaster General John E. Potter.

I think that Anderson is definitely right, as you can’t honor a man who may well be regarded as the ‘epitome of cruelty’. There are many who have done a lot to the human kind, so why not rather honor them.
