Though the oft used vegetable in the kitchen is papaya, yet it is not used beyond stir-fries or stews. Today’s recipe is on innovating the healthy papaya with some crabmeat. the recipe is as follows:
Ingredients
Green Papaya (Peeled and grated)
Shelled and Veined Shrimps
Lemon Juice
Whole Cumin Seeds
Slitted Green Chilies
Crushed Garlic
Chopped Onions
Chopped Culantro Leaves
Black Pepper
Salt
Oil
Method
1. Marinate shrimps in lemon juice and black pepper for an hour.
2. In a wok fry onions until brown, add whole cumin seeds, chopped culantro leaves, crushed garlic and slitted green chilies.
3. Fry the mixture in step2 for 5 minutes and add grated papaya.
4. Cook until the papaya is tender and finally add marinated shrimps and salt.
5. Microwave the mixture in step 4 for 15 minutes.
6. Serve with noodles topped withhot tomato sauce.
