Singer and songwriter, Joey McIntyre and his wife Barrett are expecting their first baby in November. The couple is overjoyed with the great news, which they got on St. Patrick’s Day.
The couple who recently moved to a new house is thrilled with the news of the new addition into the family.
The couple feels that they are not left with sufficient time for preparations as McIntyre will embark on the Dancing summer tour on June 20 and Barrett, 28, will be among the ballroom groupies on the road.
Joey McIntyre told People’s magazine:
She’s a little worried about some of the bumpy roads but I’m sure she’ll be fine. I don’t want her to lift anything. She’d rather do it herself than ask somebody so it?s frustrating for her to sit back and ask for me to do it.
Soon to be mom, Barrett’s love of chocolate has fallen by the wayside in favor of salty treats. Earlier she was fond of chocolates and peanut butter whereas now she likes potato chips and salty stuff.
The pair married each other on August 9, 2003, exactly a year after they had met. Barrett also largely influenced McIntyre’s fourth solo album 8:09 that was released in 2004.
