Peaches Geldof, the outspoken 17 year old daughter of Sir Bob Geldof has criticized supermodel Kate Moss and Nicole Richie for being unrealistically thin.
She claims that the stars give an unrealistic ‘thinspiration’ to vulnerable young lasses.
She commented, ‘Nicole has made a new career off the back of being skinny. She is a ‘thinspiration’ to young girls because women’s magazines obsess over her weight loss.’
Peaches added that teenagers like her are under continuous pressure to stay as svelte as women like Kate Moss and thin models on the catwalk.
She added, ‘But the problem is that most of the images we are exposed to every day have been airbrushed and no longer represent reality. I find that scary and I think it just shows how messed up our society really is.’
