She was freaking out and refused to fly.

As Cruz was being deplaned with her baggage, the luggage of other passengers eventually got drenched in rain.

The status on Continental’s website of Flight 120 mentions that the airplane returned to the gate in Newark even before taking off. Cruz’s spokesperson said that the actress is all fine saying,

There was no panic attack. The airline let her know there was going to be a 3 or 4 hour delay due to the storm. She had work so she figured she’d deplane and fly when the storm passed.

This is not the first time when the Oscar nominee has had a panic attack onboard. She earlier forced an emergency landing in 2004 when she was flying with friend Salma Hayek.
