Welcome to the club, Mary-Kate and Ashley! PETA, which usually attacks fur-wearing celebrities like Nicole Richie, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Riyo Mori – the reigning Miss Universe, has directed its fire at the Olsen twins for wearing fur and including it in their collections.
The duo has been christened the Trollsen Twins by the organization and have an entire new website dedicated to teasing and mocking the twins, ‘Hairy-Kate’ and ‘Trashley’.
PETA, also, has launched a new ad campaign, Fur Is Worn By Beautiful Animals and Ugly People, at the Olsens’ Walk of Fame star on Hollywood Boulevard. And if that weren’t enough, they have come out with a video, Full House of Horrors, spoofing the twins.
And to top it all they get a catty remark from Dan Shannon, PETA’s Assistant Director of Youth Campaigns,
No one would argue that Mary-Kate and Ashley could use some meat on their bones, but the last thing they need is hair on their backs.
