Who could tell that the much celebrated English musician, artist, published writer and poet, Pete Doherty, 29, would have to see this day in his life? April 8th 2008 marked that day in the life of this young artist after a string of unwanted brushes with law regarding drug abuse and driving offenses. Sentenced to serve 14 weeks of jail time, these are his first pictures in jail that were acquired by The Sun. Looking anything but happy, these pictures are evidence enough that Doherty is in fact serving jail time and was not bailed out in some sort of partial celebrity treatment! According to The Sun, Doherty continues to use heroine even in the jail. Wow, and here we had almost established the absence of no celebrity treatment! It ain’t a perfect world dahlings!
