It seems like Pete Doherty will stop at nothing when it comes to claim the crown of fame. The criticism prone singer has yet again stunned his critics by unveiling his first public exhibition of paintings and prints composed in his own blood.

The exhibition, Bloodworks, is currently running at the Bankrobber gallery in London’s Notting Hill and includes four canvases and 10 other original pieces produced in blood, pen and pencil.

Robin Barton, of the Bankrobber gallery, is all praises for Pete Doherty’s work. He said:

His use of blood lends itself perfectly to exploring the extraordinary personal and physical intensity that characterises so much of Peter’s life and work as an artist in the broadest sense.

The 28-year-old Babyshambles star has previously showcased his talent as a poet by giving renditions of his poem alongside regular gigs. Now, it seems the singer wants to confirm a place in the arts circuit too.

Great going Pete! Forget about how the world will react to your new act, if Kate is happy then your bleeding act is well justified.
