Chad Butler, who is also known as Pimp C, a part of Houston rap group — UKG, is now no more, he died in an L A’s hotel. His age was only 33.
Investigators immediately rushed at the Mondrian Hotel for looking into this particular death case.
Nancy Byron, the media representative of Butler, verified his death by saying that he passed away and discovered dead this early morning in a hotel room of Los Angeles.
According to a report — authorized spokesperson mentioned that the reason behind his death is still not known.
Jive Records had released a statement regarding the death of Butler — with deep sorrow ‘Jive Records’ declares the departure of Pimp C, who was a close associate.
Barry Weiss, the head & Chief executive of Jive Records’ mentioned in a statement that – we lament the sudden demise of Butler. He was really a considerate & benevolent human being. This man would be remembered for his qualities, abilities and great impact for the reasons of making the southern rap to come to front position.
Barry also mentioned that he knew Butler when he was just 18 years old, & all of us adore him very much & he was a special associate of the Jive group.
Chad was born in the city Port Arthur of the state — Texas and his dad was a trumpet player who used to give his performances along with Solomon Burke.
‘Pimp c’ came across his associate ‘Bun B’ during his school days and after that both of them together shaped — UGK. In the year 1992, the twosome signed a contract with Jive Records & released nearly 8 albums for them. Duo received their greatest success in the starting of this year when their current album, acquired top position among the latest released pop albums.
Bun B was not present to make any statement regarding this. He died leaving behind his wife and 3 kids.
