Play it cool, Danny! Sex & Horse make top Google keywords

horse sex story

Well, that’s yet another reiteration of the truth ensconced in a rather contemptuous remark, “Ignorance is bliss!” Or else, why would have Danny Westneat of The Seattle Times gone gaga over a success that never came to him?

All this started with Danny having sex with…errr…sorry…I mean, all this started with Danny doing a story about a man, who died from a perforated colon while having sex with a horse in Enumclaw, some time last summer, and the headline of the story carried two most sought-after key words – Sex and Horse. That’s it! The next thing to happen was porn site-searchers excavating the Net for the sites containing “stuff” related to the twin terms. This resulted in an overwhelmingly high number of kinky minds visiting that particular story.

Apart from the various exciting combinations offered by Horse and Sex, another reason for the search engines popping up that particular story lies in the fact that the newspaper site by itself is a highly ranked one. So, any “popular” keyword appearing in any story of The Seattle Times are sure to be among top search results. And poor Danny thought, the traffic was there to read his great story! I am sure, the disappointed visitors must have returned cursing the fellow instead of reading his “dry” write-up.

No I am not making fun of the scribe. In fact, I am unable to decide whether to laugh at the precarious situation that the guy has landed himself in or pity his ignorance. Will you help me out?
