The 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso has a peculiar passion for watches. He has admitted his weird penchant for watches quite many times during his interviews, saying that he loves watches. The reason behind he thinks is that he is reincarnation of the 13th Dalai Lama. As he was fond of pocket watches, rosaries, and horses, so maybe this is why he also likes watches. He received his first watch at the age of 7 from President Franklin Roosevelt, which he has today as well.

She spent around 35 years of her life living in the communist East Germany. Things were scarce in that economy, which made Angela Merkel to imbibe some deep-seated habits. One of the habits that now appear weird but was absolutely normal for the conditions that prevailed in communist East Germany is the food hoarding. Even today, she is into impulsive buying, which is buying things even when you do not need them.
