When an ordinary 23-year old drinks and goes bonkers in Saturday night parties, he is considered normal and his parents hardly consider his behaviour as even remotely insane. But when Prince Harry does the same thing, he makes the headlines and embarrasses the Royal family.
Recent pictures of Prince Harry illustrate the 23-year old in drunken stupor virtually all the time. It seems that young Harry has had one drop too many and is unable to control himself. Indeed drinking, going out to late night parties with one’s girlfriend and unwittingly involving oneself in club brawls wouldn’t have made national news for Prince Harry had he known where to draw the line.
The string of controversial incidents involving Prince Harry and alcohol has pushed the Royal family and its advisors into serious discussion over his future. Many subscribe to the idea that the Prince’s love affair with alcohol is a direct effect of the refusal to allow him to go and fight in Iraq while others feel that his father Prince Charles is to held responsible for not restricting his younger son.
Whatever the reason maybe for Prince Harry’s brawls with fellow party goers over his girlfriend Chelsy or for his long nights out drinking till he drops off, the need to find a solution is urgent. Pictures of Prince Harry, who is currently serving in the Army, in a dizzy state have been making the rounds everywhere.
The Royal personage are desperately trying to put up a brace face amid the fiasco but that can’t eclipse the truth that Prince Harry is a spoilt young man, who desperately needs to understand his role and responsibility as a member of the British family.
