After months of speculation surrounding the status of their relationship, Prince William and Kate Middleton finally broke the ice by publicly appearing together. The two were pictured as they emerged from a nightclub at 2am.
A very eventful year for William and Kate seems to be finally concluding on a happy note. It all began with speculation surrounding the wedding announcement after Kate’s inclusion in the royal party for William’s graduation from Sandhurst. The speculations never translated into reality, and four months later, the couple had a heart breaking split in April. Around July, Kate appeared with the prince in the Royal Box at Wembley for the Diana Memorial Concert, but at much distance. This was followed by a romantic holiday in Seychelles.
As the year is drawing to an end, the two appear happy in a blissful relationship. On Thursday night, the pair enjoyed a boozy night out and a dinner with close friends. The two went off together in Williams Range Rover.
If the grapevine is to be believed, the two are likely to get engaged after the end of his military training in January 2009. Throwing light on their relationship, a close friend of the couple said:
They had a serious ‘wobble’ earlier this year but Kate is, and will always be, the first girl he has fallen for in any major way. The fact that he is happy for them to be seen together again shouldn’t be underestimated.
