‘Prison Break’ star Lane Garrison was involved in an accident that killed a 17-year old male passenger and two 15-years old girls, who were also in the car, were critically injured.

Police said that Garrison should be charged with felony vehicular manslaughter, as he had cocaine and more than twice the legal blood alcohol level in his system after a fatal car crash.

Beverly Hills police said Garrison’s blood alcohol level was .20 percent – more than two times California’s .08 percent limit.

Police Chief David L. Snowden also asked county prosecutors to charge Garrison, 26, with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

If convicted- gross vehicular manslaughter, Garrison faces 10 years in state prison and other charges would add additional years to the term.

Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney, said the police report was under review but no decision had been made on whether to file charges.

Garrison was driving his Land Rover SUV with three teen-aged passengers and struck a tree on December 2, at 11:52 p.m.

But Garrison’s attorney condemned police for publicizing the drug and alcohol test results before showing them to him. He said,

It’s a perversion of the system. It’s a police trial.
