From the recent statements of Brad Pitt it can be inferred that he thinks in right frame of mind he could have never agreed to a movie like Inglourious Basterds; but as Tarantino boozed him beyond his sanity-frame-of-mind, he agreed. Maybe that is why Pitt doesn’t remember agreeing to appear.
Brad just remembers Quentin visiting him and talking about the movie and that by the next morning he was up for playing an American army officer leading a group of Jewish-American soldiers.
“I get up the next morning and see five empty bottles of wine right on the floor, five, and something that resembles a smoking apparatus – I don???t know what that was about – and apparently I had agreed to do this film??? tells Brad
But now when the movie has got featured in the Cannes, he must not be minding that the decision.
