This is really very funny! A gig promoter has filed a complaint against R. KELLY alleging that — singer was putting a court trial before his gig contracts.
R. Kelly deserted a big concert as — amazingly — he had to visit court for a trail in Chicago, but recently a gig promoter wants his whole cash back, and is making all efforts to drag the mysterious Kelly into court. Well I can only say — all the best!
Actually the whole matter is — KELLY, 40, failed to attend his court date related to his minor pornography hearing and the judge rearranged it once again on ??? 19th December 2007 and he was instructed with a warning that — an arrest warrant would be issued against him if he would not be able to make out this time on 20th December 2007.
After all this — Kelly finally called off the 20th December gig in Minneapolis. Gig Promoter Royalty Records claims that — Kelly contracted to perform on 6th December 2007 later he postponed the concert date and further decided to perform on 20th December 2007.
Well, the singer tried to put all blame on his court date, however promoters have finally filed a complain to take legal action against Kelly, blaming that he never took it seriously to perform at the concert, in spite of this, he even took a check of — $120,000 as his appearance charge.
TMZ claims that — Royalty Records wants back their whole amount –$120,000 as well as their losses!
In the meantime, Kelly is waiting for his court hearing for doing sex with a child and it is suppose to begin in May 2008.
