Actor Daniel ‘Harry Potter’ Radcliffe must not find it hard to identify with the character he is famous for, atleast after this. For, the 17-year old has become a phenomenon at a young age just like the fictional character following the unveiling of his statue at Madame Tussaud’s. Radcliffe became the youngest ever star to be immortalised in wax at Madame Tussauds on Monday.
Radcliffe will celebrate his unforgettable 18th birthday on the 23rd this month. He joined the league of esteemed celebrities at the famous London landmark. Ben Lovett, a spokesman for the museum, insists that the young star deserves this plaudit despite his age.
Lovett claims that Radcliffe’s recent naked turn onstage in controversial London play Equus fetched the actor a celebrity edge, something that he did not enjoy before.
He says:
With his 18th birthday around the corner and stage roles like Equus under his belt, Daniel has become a young British acting force to be reckoned with.
He further added:
It’s been great for the studio’s sculptors to recreate someone who we’ve all watched growing up on the big screen.
