For the movie buffs in Tamil Nadu, the Tamil superstar Rajnikant is nothing less than a demigod is. Despite of advancing age and a receding hairline, the ‘Thalaivur’ is the reigning superstar of the state.
His fan following consists of children, parents and grandparents alike. Rajnikant’s fans are no more satisfied with confining the fame of the actor within the boundary of the state only and are bound to shower their superstar with international recognition. Fans of Rajnikanth want a wax statue of the Tamil superstar installed at the Madam Tussaud’s Museum in London.
While Hindi Superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan and the Bollywood beauty queen Aishwarya Rai have their share of fame in the Madam Tussaud’s Museum, the Tamil superstar is yet to make his presence being felt in the wax museum.
The Rajnikant fan club has written to the authorities at the museum in London and has an online petition where thousands of signatories are added every day.
It will not be long when we will have a wax image of Rajnikant besides the rulers of Bollywood.
