After making small appearances in films like ‘Chura Liya Hai Tumne’, ‘Main Hoon Na’ and the recent one ‘Shoot out at Lokhandwala’, Rakhi Sawant is ready to sizzle in yet another movie ‘Buddha Mar Gaya’, expected to hit the box office this August. Buddha Mar Gaya is a very special film for Rakhi as she is playing a wholesome role in the film.
The oomph actor, Rakhi, has been amusing the audience with her dancing, and lately her singing skills, from quite a long time now. But, this movie would give an opportunity to this highly striving girl to prove her acting skills. She would be working with some of the distinguished actors like Anupam Kher, Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, and Ranvir Shorey, which automatically demands Rakhi to put a lot of effort to make her presence felt.
The rip tearing black comedy titled ‘Buddha Mar Gaya’ directed by Rahul Rawail, challenges to make you fall off your seats laughing. It is all about money, money and more money. The take off point of ‘Buddha Mar Gaya’ is that too much of money can lead to corruption. The film is a fun filled ride into a world plagued with dead bodies, self-centered nature, greed and corruption and funerals.
I think Rakhi needs to work very hard on her accent and as far as her acting skills are concerned, they need an average grooming as already witnessed in ‘The Big Boss’. With Rakhi trying her hand in comedy this time, we wish she succeeds in this venture too apart from the comic comments and acts that we come across from her side often!
