Rebecca Black became an overnight internet singing sensation when her low-budget video of the song ???Friday??? was released by a boutique record label in the internet in YouTube during February. The 16yr old is seen having a sing frolicking time with her friends in a pleasure drive as she keeps singing her song. The song instantly went viral with over a 110 million hits at the first week itself. Though several internet critics have been vocal and critical about Rebecca Black who went on to make appearances in national television and made her debut pop chart entries in US, UK, Canada and Australia. Now it seems that someone has the knives out for this blooming young star, with two death threats being made at her during March. Sources say, that the blackmailer has threaten Rebecca Black with dire consequences if she fails to pull out her music video off the internet, which has surpassed the record hits that Lady Gaga???s ???Born this way??? and Justin Bieber???s ???Pray??? have received.

Anaheim Police spokesperson Rick Martinez spoke to Reuters:

In essence the threats were related to getting the music off the Internet or they were going to kill her. We can’t validate how serious they are, but we do take it seriously. We’re going to investigate and determine, number one, the source of the comments and then based on the investigation determine what intent was and where we go from here, If we believe they were actually intended as threats we will work toward prosecution.

Though the Anaheim officers are going to keep an extra eye out for Rebecca Black, this once unknown Southern-Californian middle school starlet sure is having her fair share of thunder in her silver lined clouds.
