Rhydian Roberts, the venom-spitting X Factor runner-up has finally proved his worth. The 25-year-old has bagged a £1million record deal with Simon Cowell. If all goes well for this lad, he will square the matters off with winner Leon Jackson by debuting before him.
The Sun reports that Rhydian is looking forward to have a debut single in the next few months. The album will follow shortly. It will be made under the Sony BMG label, which has the rights to Simon’s troop.
Rhydian was the hot favorite, but he slipped in the finals amidst controversial claims that his voting line was jammed. Well, even I think there is a bit of truth in this claim because Rhydian had an edge over Leon. His voice and talent is anytime better than Leon’s.
Anyway, I’m happy for Rhydian. He has proved himself by having the last laugh.
