Rod Stewart’s feud with lingerie giant Ultimo is not a new thing. But a recent act by one of his daughter added more fuel to the fire burning inside Rod’s heart.
Recently, Rod Stewart’s 20-year-old daughter, Ruby, approached Ultimo and bagged a modelling assignment worth £100,000 with the lingerie company to promote the firm’s Asda range. This was enough to infuriate the 62-year-old rock stalwart who has had past differences with Ultimo.
It all started in 2004 when Ultimo dumped his wife Penny Lancaster in favor of his ex-wife Rachel Hunter. This started Rod’s war with Ultimo’s boss, Michelle Mone. An angry Rod Stewart then labelled Mrs Mone a ‘manipulative cow’.
Rod’s next stand-off with Ultimo was seen recently when his 28-year-old daughter Kimberly Stewart joined hands with Ultimo to model for the firm’s Adore Moi range.
Hence, this latest incident has left Rod fuming with anger. As soon as he got the news of his daughter’s involvement in the project, he ordered work to stop.
Meanwhile, Mrs Mone confirmed that Ruby had been signed but she was doing her last shoot for Ultimo.
