Rock legend Rod Stewart and his fiancee, model Penny Lancaster, have decided to make their relation official and are set to marry as soon as possible.
As per reports, this celebrity wedding is going to be a very private affair at Capri, an island just off the Italian coast. No castle, no glitz of the camera and absolutely no big money photo deals.
The 62-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has been engaged to the leggy model since 2005, when he proposed to her in his unique style at the top of Eiffel Tower.
Stewart has a successful singing career spanning five decades in which he has recieved almost every music award. Stewart has numerous hit singles to his credit and is the handsdown winner at UK Top Ten with 62 hit singles including 24 that featured in the Top 10, and 6 went on to become numero uno.
Stewart even made his mark on the Hollywood Walk of Fame when he received a star on October 11, 2005.
Stewart’s marriage to Penny will be his third. His first wife was Alana Hamilton and second wife was model Rachel Hunter with whom he was attached for 16 years until the couple divorced recently.
Stewart and Penny even have a 16-month-old son named Alastair Wallace Stewart.
