Rod Stewart’s son Sean Stewart, 26, pleaded not guilty for throwing a brick at a couple’s truck outside a party on April 22. He appeared in Los Angeles County Superior Court on July 3, and has been instructed to stay away from the couple.
Sean wanted to be a part of the party that was going in Holiday Hills with his friends. But, he was not allowed to enter, therefore furious Sean hit the couple (Tobalus and Ericka Stein) with a brick.
Later he was released on bail for $60,000. The court has ordered him to return on August 6 for the hearing that will decide if there is enough evidence for a trial or not.
The star son was arrested last month on charges of assault and vandalism when Tobalus and Ericka Stein sued him in May.
The couple accused Sean as they said :
We were in a truck April 22 when Stewart and others began swinging their arms at, punching, throwing bricks and other items at, and striking the bodies of plaintiffs and the truck.
However the lawsuit didn’t indicate a motive behind the assault.
Stewart is charged with four serious crimes that include two assaults with a deadly weapon and one each of throwing a substance at a vehicle.
Stewart’s lawyer, Peter J. Korn maintained that the happening was not as it has been alleged and hinted that the lawsuit is financially motivated.
Sean Stewart who is also a part of the A&E reality show ‘Sons of Hollywood’ is Rod Stewart’s son from his marriage to model-actress Alana Stewart. The couple had separated in the early 1980s.
