Roman Polanski hit by new sexual abuse allegations

Roman Polanski’s days have just turned from worse to grave. The fugitive filmmaker was hit by fresh allegations of sexual abuse by a woman who claims Polanski forced himself on her in his Paris apartment (four years after he fled the United States in 1978) when she was just 16 years old, reports People.

Charlotte Lewis, a British actress who appeared in Polanski’s 1986 film Pirates, made the allegations in a press conference at her attorney’s office in LA on Friday. Here’s the statement as given by Charlotte,

[Polanski] sexually abused me in the worst possible way when I was just 16. He knew [how old I was] when he met me and forced himself upon me in his apartment in Paris. He took advantage of me and I have lived with the effects of his behavior ever since it occurred. I’ve traveled to the U.S. at my own expense to make sure that justice is finally done and that Mr. Polanski gets what he deserves. All I want is justice.

If this is true, then Roman Polanski is in some real deep shit. As it is the three decades old infamous case of sexual assault has made his life worse than a diseased mouse. And now this fresh case might just act as the final nail in his stinking coffin. Let’s wait and see what happens. Anyway, I’m not expecting him to die before he finally finds himself behind the bars.
