Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been officially confirmed to play the lead character Mikaela Banes in Transformers 3. The hot speculation doing rounds about Rosie replacing Megan Fox in the hot franchisee was given a stamp of authenticity by none other than the Transformers honchos, including director Michael Bay who officially introduced her to the fans on his personal blog.
Michael wrote,
I would like for all you fans to welcome Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to the world of Transformers.
Rosie’s publicist Liz Matthews didn’t waste any time and twittered a similar note on the heels of Michael’s announcement,
Been waiting to tweet this for ages!! I can now confirm Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the new female lead in ‘Transformers 3’! (sic)
If you remember, I had given an indication about Rosie’s hotness right at the beginning of this year in my very first post on her. And I’m glad I was not wrong when I said that she has the potential to become one of the most-shining stars on Victoria???s Secret???s already glittering sky. Congratulations, Rosie!
