Scarlett Johanson’s dream of becoming a director dashed in the very first try when her directed segment in the upcoming movie ???New York, I Love You” was tagged as “unwatchable”. Johansson said in the past that she would prefer to direct rather than act but was very unfortunate as an A-listed star Kevin Bacon could also not help save the fate of her segment.
Producer Emmanuel Benbihy said that the movie is about intertwined vignettes about love and was originally made up of 12 segments, out of which Johnson’s segment had to be cut, as it didn???t match the finished article. Its high time when Scarlett should realize that being successful in one will not also lead to success in other ventures, and that too in jobs like musician or film director.
