Scary Movie 4 set a new Easter weekend record after crossing $30 million bench mark set by thriller Panic Room four years back. It is the first hit for Bob and Harvey Weinstein who left Miramax and started off their own firm. They are overwhelmed with joy as their six month old company tasted success lately.
Ice Age: The Meltdown, which has earned $150million since its release stands second in the list this week. Baseball comedy The Benchwarmers claimed the third place and The Wild which made $9.6 million grabbed the forth place.
