The ‘What’s Left of Me’ singer Nick Lachey is happy that his divorce from Jessica Simpson finished in a dignified manner. And now he didn’t want to look back and regret any of his actions.
Lachey who took home Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Fun, Fearless Male of the Year Award on Monday, January 22, has some advice on how to get through rough times:
You have to always have a good perspective and a good attitude and always take the high road. You never want to look back and regret the way you acted.
Lachey, 33, split from Simpson in November 2005. He told PEOPLE,
Certainly I had some tough times in the past year. Hopefully I tried always to take the high road and make the most of the situation.
Nick Lachey has now found his new love in the arms of MTV presenter Vanessa Minnillo.
