Marilyn Monroe
Born as Norma Jeane Baker, Marilyn Monroe can be defined as a true Hollywood icon. She was the original sex symbol who had an enchanting beauty, but the personal life of this female had always been in a mess. She died an unnatural and a very mysterious death. According to the doctors, Marilyn died as a result of acute barbiturate poisoning, i.e. she overdosed on sleeping pills, but many people say that the distressed actress took her own life as she had no further will to live. There are even rumors that since the 1960s, Monroe had affairs with John or Robert Kennedy, or both, which points toward another possibility of her strange death. Marilyn made her last significant public appearance at a televised birthday party for President John F. Kennedy at Madison Square Garden, singing “Happy Birthday, Mr. President.” Other links to her death point toward the CIA or mafia connections, but the real cause is still unknown. The legacy of this leading lady will continue forever as till today the young actors try to emulate her charm and persona.
Natalie Wood
She lived her life with ease, at her own comfort, she was a teen sensation who had a short but worth remembering tenure in Hollywood, Natalie Wood was undoubtedly the industry’s most tragic actress. Although it seems like a decade, the questions about this female’s death are still unanswered. Was it a murder? A suicide? or an accidental death? No one knows the facts, and there are just presumptions. Some feel that a person who is shit scared of water, goes sailing in a dinghy at the middle of the night sounds very unrealistic. The belief is that Natalie had been flirting with Christopher Walken, her co-star in the movie Brainstorm, in front of her husband, and Robert Wagner obviously hated this. It points toward another possible reason behind her death mystery, i.e. a murder. When Wood’s body was discovered the next day, she had several bruises on her arms and legs, perhaps from normal daily things or perhaps from the struggle she put up with before she ended up passing away. Well, no one knows the reality and maybe it will never be known also, all we know is that that fateful November night took away a very stunning and promising actress from Hollywood.
Bruce Lee
The most influential martial artist ever and a cultural icon, Bruce Lee, was the person who took martial arts to a different level. He led a very fulfilling life but died under equally mysterious circumstances. There were many speculations about the reason of his sudden and untimely death. The rumors ranged from Lee being killed by Hong Kong gangsters as he refused to pay them protection money, something that was common for Chinese movie stars to do at that time. The other reasons pointed toward his death due to an angry martial artist’s dim mak deadly strike on his head leading to an internal injury which proved to be fatal later. Some people even say that Lee was cursed and lived in a haunted house in Hong Kong, which lead to his bad luck and a shocking death, when he was at the peak of his career. Well, the most common of all the presumptions is that he had died while making love to actress Betty Tingpei, as he went to her house just hours before his death to discuss a movie. Well, it is also known to be possible that he had angered the Chinese martial arts community by teaching foreigners, which he eventually paid for by giving his life. All the reasons remain inconclusive and what is known is that we lost a very bright star at a very young age.
Princess Diana
An enchanting smile and a stunning beauty, Lady Diana Spencer, the Princess of Wales ruled almost everyone’s heart in Britain and all over the world. Her death made everyone grieve for her, she was a goddess in disguise, she helped the poor, worked for the charities and did everything that was expected of a Princess and a generous human being. Though according to the reports she died in a car crash because of a drunk driver, the mystery over her death is still grave, as there are many other facts too. Some believe that she was killed in an attempt to rush the car from a paparazzi who was trying to take pictures of Diana and Dodi Al- Fayed, her boyfriend who accompanied her. The sudden death of the paparazzi in 2000, under mysterious circumstances, was even more shocking. There were even rumors that her car crash was planned by M16, as she was the only barrier in the second marriage of Prince Charles. The mystery deepened in 2003, when her butler Paul Burrell, exposed a letter written by her in which she spoke about the fears to her life. Diana mentioned about some plot to kill her but never gave the details. After every speculation, the reason for the death of the Princess is still uncertain. It is very hard to say if Diana will ever fade away from our mind or eyes as the public still mourns for their very loving and glamorous lady.
John F. Kennedy
He ruled America for just two years but gave hopes that lasted forever, John F. Kennedy was one of the most powerful Presidents of the States. He was lovingly called as JFK by the public. He had many hopes for the future of the US, but everything ended with his assassination in 1963. America came to a standstill on that day and it is still the greatest murder mystery of the country. John was shot in a motorcade during a re-election campaign swing through Dallas, where he was accompanied by his wife, Jacqueline Kennedy. Regarding his assassination there are different stories from different people. Some feel that the first family of America, The Kennedys, were cursed, which led to sudden and untimely demise of their beloved President. Others say that it was a conspiracy against him by certain parties like the Federal Reverse, as they didn???t want Kennedy in power. Although the Warren Commission concluded in 1964 that an apparent loner and Communist named Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in killing the president, the facts point to a big conspiracy in the killing. Probably we will never know about what really happened in those fateful seconds in Dealey Plaza four decades ago, but one thing is for sure, that that day America lost a vibrant leader who dreamed to make the States even bigger than what they are today.
Anna Nicole Smith
Anna Nicole Smith, the very outgoing blonde whose life played out as an extraordinary tabloid tale, jeans model, bride of an octogenarian oil tycoon, reality-show subject, tragic mother, died in mysterious circumstances after collapsing at a hotel in Florida. There were rumors that the cause of her death was suicide because of the depression after her son’s sudden demise, while there were other speculations like her personal life was taking her nowhere and because of this she had no further will to live. Her death was later ruled an accidental drug overdose after traces of 11 different drugs were found in her body. Well, Smith can be defined as a female who had a perfect life earlier and within no time everything was finished. We surely lost a very bold and a talented actress.
Kurt Cobain
Nirvana’s singer, Kurt Cobain, had a fan following beyond imagination. He was one such star who lived a very short but fulfilling life. In early 1994, Cobain was diagnosed with bronchitis and severe laryngitis for which he went to Rome for treatment, it was as if after this Kurt lost his will to live, he tried to commit suicide but didn???t succeed and on April 1st he disappeared from the clinic only to be found dead on April 8 at his Lake Washington home. There is a lot of mystery about the punk star’s death. Some people believe that he committed suicide as a lot of heroin was found in his system and others believe that Cobain was murdered by someone very close to him. The allegations point toward his wife, Courtney Love, also, but nothing was ever proved. The suicide letter found by his side didn???t mention his intentions to kill himself until the last four lines and when analyzed the last four lines did not match Cobain’s handwriting. Although there was a lot of heroin in his system, almost the amount that can kill a person three times over, the question is, if he really had that amount of drugs in his body, how could he have fired the gun? Well, there are many possibilities, but the harsh reality remains that we lost a great star, and sadly this truth can never be changed.
