Shania Twain and her music producer hubby Robert John ‘Mutt’ Lange is the latest celebrity couple who has decided to call off their wedding. Their decision to split was confirmed by Twain???s rep, Jason Owen, who said,
Shania Twain and her husband, music producer Robert ???Mutt??? Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage. This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time.
Twain,42 and Lange,59, had met in 1993. Just after six months of courtship the duo exchanged nuptials in the same year. They were later blessed with a son, Eja D???Angelo, in 2001. Both Lange and Twain refuted the rumors that they were heading towards a split in 2002 when Twain had said,
Our love has always been based on friendship and compatibility. We are very different.
However their split has now come after six years. Well, the duo were just trying hard to make their marriage work at that point of time. Alas! Both failed and could not make their marriage last forever.
