Brendan Fraser, the man who busted mummies and flew from the tip to toe of the jungle riding vipers is once again in the limelight. Now he is in the highlights as Showest is all set to honor him the award for ???The Distinguished Decade Of Achievement in Film??? at the year???s Convention to be held at Las Vegas.
Fraser, who earlier made a mark with his performance in films like The Mummy, Encino Man, With Honors, Blast from the Past is surely an enigmatic actor, a veteran comedian and an artist quite capable of producing work that???s thoughtful. As far as Showest is concerned they have cited films like the Mummy, George Of the Jungle, Crash and Gods and Monsters to be worthwhile for their consideration. That is truly an assorted cadaver of works.
Though all that till now seems relatively justified as Showest generally aims and gears towards theater owners, but is that all enough to find Brendan deserving enough? There are a lot more who deserve it more but anyways that???s not my concern. Let that be up to the Jury of the Showest, it???s just ???Congratulations??? from me as Fraser queues up behind dainty predecessors like Laurence Fishburne, Nicholas Cage and Nicole Kidman.
