Simon Cowell, the British music executive and television producer, brushed aside allegations that he has helped his friend hide £2 billion worth of assets and he tried to clear his name from the high-profile divorce case between Scot and Michelle Young.

The X-factor judge promptly sent lawyers to the High Court to refute the ???scandalous??? claims by ex-model, Michelle Young who even alleged that her estranged husband was a ???secret shareholder??? in American Idol, the talent show which had Simon Cowell as one of its judges. Mr. Young, however, was previously declared bankrupt with £28 million in debt. Michelle though has a different story to tell. She also didn???t spare Topshop boss Sir Philip Green, Russian oligarch Boris Berezlovsky and restaurateur Richard Caring who she thought were party to the conspiracy to hide the cash away.

With Mrs. Young taking a dig at her husband, the Telegraph reports,

The 47-year-old mother of two, claims he has hidden his fortune to avoid paying any money to her, while he insists he is £28 million indebt.
Matthew Nicklin, representing Mr Cowell, said his client was horrified to hear of the claims made against him, which he heard for the first time this week.
???I am here today to make clear that Mr Cowell categorically refutes the claims made against him by Mrs Young,??? he said. ???They are scandalous. He has never had any business dealings with Mr Young and has no knowledge whatsoever of Mr Young???s financial affairs. The allegation that Mr Young is a secret shareholder in American Idol is simply false.???

Not a scrap of evidence has surfaced yet to back the claims of Michelle Young. She however remains adamant that she would be able to unveil the truth and says ???investigations are continuing.??? Well, this is one reality show for which we need to wait and watch!
