skinless dogMeat products have manifested themselves in many forms of steaks, burgers, venison but hot dog is reported to be the most sustainable meat form of all the meat products. The hot dog has become refined in taste, texture and nutritional profile over the years. But Janet Riley of the Hot Dog Council reports of the breakthrough, which came when the hot dog went skinless, as the cellulose casing slipped out easily after cooking and before packaging the same.

The highlight here is the perquisite that skinless dogs gave to various sausage manufacturers pushing sales. Briefly, skinless sausages have made the whole change in the way hot dog was taken by consumers and producers. In comparison to natural casings made of sheepskin or intestines, skinless hot dogs are less expensive, softer and give a uniform shape to the sausage. Therefore, skinless dog reigns the meat world.
