Jersey Shore‘s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is the newest reality TV star to join the elite list of celebrity authors. Snooki is writing her first book, tentatively titled A Shore Thing. And don’t you dare whisk it as an announcement made in a “high” mood because the babe has been sincerely working on this project for some time and the book is all set to hit the stands this January.

The reality star is expected to release her first book, tentatively titled A Shore Thing, in January, publisher Simon & Schuster announced Wednesday. And she’ll likely be coming at it with a fresh perspective. Like other reality stars turned authors, including Nicole Richie and Lauren Conrad, who penned bestselling fictionalized accounts of their own lives, Snooki’s book will tell the story of a girl looking for romance on the boardwalk.
The 22-year-old is quoted as saying,
I’m pumped to announce to my fans a project that I’ve been working on for some time. This book will have you falling in love at the shore.
