Soccer player David Beckham and rapper Snoop Dogg’s friendship will now turn professional as they both venture to make a Hollywood film together. The two have been good friends since a long time and Beckham’s liking for Snoop even made him name his two pet dogs (Snoop and Dog) after the singer.
Coming from altogether different arenas the friends had never thought that they would ever share something like this prior to Beckham’s move to LA this summer. The duo later plans to launch a fashion line together is currently excited about investing for a big-budget blockbuster. Snoop also known as Calvin Broadus said:
No one would have thought me and my boy David would have anything in common. But he has the dollars at his disposal and we’re talking about putting our money together to do a movie. It’s incredibly exciting.
Speaking on future plans of a clothing line The Hard Way star said:
We both love fashion. I think he got his idea to have cornrows in his hair from me, which is great.
The friends are not restricted to themselves as each’s family mingles with others nicely. The familes’ closeness was felt when recently Beckham was seen helping Snoop’s kids – sons Corde, 13, Cordell, 10 and 8-year-old daughter, Cori – to play football.
Beckham did great job of a coach for his friends’ kids and taught them how to shoot and score the perfect goal.
I hope the singer also returns the favor by teaching Becks kids some rap music!
