There is news for all you Backstreet Boys fans. Band member A.J. Mclean is now set to record his solo album. He has even unleashed tickets for two low-key concerts in California. The concerts are scheduled for 23rd March(Sunday) and 24th March(Monday). According to his manager, Eric Podwall, A.J was distressed by the ageing band and thus decided to give out to the world a glimpse of his own style and music. Well that is not all, Mclean is also planning to go for concerts in the whole of Europe as well. He is planning to launch his solo album later this year. However, there is nothing much to worry about for the fans. He is not quitting the band. Infact, he would be releasing a band album in 2009. Hope A.J. does a good job. All our best wishes with him.
